Agrimatco proudly marks more than eighty years of achievement, celebrating a history of success and dedication in the agriculture industry.

History

Agrimatco’s mission started with its visionary founder the late Khalil Miqdadi (1908-1980), who after graduating from France (L’Ecole National d’Agriculture de Grignon Agricultural Engineer) returned to Palestine in 1936 to lauch a private start-up. His enterprise was built to serve farmers and provide them with the best materials to enhance their production. The founder’s driving passion in the field of agriculture extends to present day, with the family business’ growth internationally guided by the leadership of his sons.

Location

Agrimatco’s global presence spans across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia, China and Vietnam, securing its position as an indispensable partner in the industry.

Activities

Agrimatco maintains a tradition of excellence by continuing to provide expert services and high quality materials from renowned suppliers, thus catering to every farmer’s need and maintaining a solid understanding of various cultures and local values.

Over the last decades, Agrimatco’s services have extended to include: providing all types of seeds, agrochemicals, fertilizers, veterinary and public health products in addition to farm tools and equipment. Agrimatco’s drive to accommodate all of its customers’ requirements has placed it in the position of  choice distributor for most of the key international suppliers, who rely on Agrimatco’s integral position in the market and reliable after-sales support.

Agrimatco’s unique success includes direct communication with customers, subsequently identifying their needs and working methodically to meet those needs. A team of expert agronomists in every country works to provide extended services based on their deep insight into local agriculture. By regularly consulting in the field, agronomists provide their input to farmers on a case-by-case basis, as well as relaying market feedback to its suppliers creating a two-way knowledge stream. In providing this free service, Agrimatco has achieved great results in raising awareness, strengthening partnership with local clientele, thus leading to enhanced overall performance and production.

Trial stations

Additionally, Agrimatco’s strengths have expanded to include many trial stations, operating a total of twenty four sations in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. Agrimatco conducts rigorous screening of seeds in order to ensure suitablility to local conditions and standads. Furthermore, the trial stations are also used to test new agrochemicals, which is valuable in identifying the best match for seeds and agrochemicals for each respective market. Research institues regularly collaborate with Agrimatco, drawing on its more than eighty years of experience and acquired knowledge.
